Preparing For Your Appointment
Here at Tebo, we work with our patients to schedule their appointments at times that are completely convenient for their schedule, and most appropriate for their dental needs. If you need to complete patient paperwork in-office, please plan on arriving 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. We ask that all our patients arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment time. Also, through our experience, we’ve found that children under the age of 7 are most comfortable during their appointment in the morning. Since older children tend to be more familiar with the dentist, we will often see those patients in the afternoon.
Effective February 1, 2016, every patient’s Broken Appointment history will be wiped clean. What this means is that everyone gets a clean slate!
Our office will need to receive at least 24 hours or one full business day’s notice in order to cancel a confirmed appointment, for any reason. Missed confirmed appointments without such notice will be considered a Broken Appointment. After the second Broken Appointment, patients will have to wait until January 1st of the following year to call us and schedule an appointment.
This policy applies to any appointments missed within the same household in any practice. Families may schedule up to 3 siblings together per day.
For example, a confirmed appointment scheduled on Monday at 1:00pm needs to be canceled by the preceding Friday at 1:00pm to not be considered a Broken Appointment. Similarly, a confirmed appointment scheduled for Thursday at 1:00pm needs to be canceled by the preceding Wednesday at 1:00pm to not be considered a Broken Appointment.
While we do not charge a Missed Appointment Fee for cancelled or missed appointments, we do stand firmly behind our missed appointment policies in an effort to offer the best possible experience for our patients who make it on time for their appointments.

Tebo accepts most dental insurance plans and will file insurance claims for services rendered on your behalf. Our Insurance Department will provide an estimate before treatment is performed and will make every effort to maximize your dental benefits, but please keep in mind that this is a complimentary service that Tebo Dental provides solely as a measure of convenience to our patients. It is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to be in communication with their insurance company regarding what they will owe toward dental services. If you have any questions regarding your specific plan, please contact your employer or insurance company for information.
Your claim will be submitted to your insurance company after treatment has concluded. Patients are responsible for their portions not covered by insurance as well as any insurance deductibles at the time of treatment. If the insurance company does not pay on the claim within 30 days, the remaining balance will be the patient’s responsibility.
We would be happy to discuss payment options for dental procedures that are not covered by your insurance. Please feel free to call our office at (770)-925-3300 to inquire on these options.
For services not covered by insurance, we accept all major credit cards, checks, cash, CareCredit, and the TeboCare Discount Dental Program, which is our in-house discount dental plan. An interest of 1.5% per month for charges may be applied to balances if not paid within 30 days. There is a $30.00 fee for any personal checks that are rendered for insufficient funds.
